DFB-Pokal (Germany): before every match we compare the odds of several bookmakers and use them to derive our tip and the estimated probability of a 1, X or 2 result.
- The tip is the single outcome we rate highest. In matches where the favourite is barely ahead, we recommend double chance.
- The coloured 1 – X – 2 bar divides our estimate across the three outcomes: home side wins, draw, away side wins.
- Fair odds work out as 1 divided by the probability. Bookmaker odds above that level may be value, but value does not mean the bet will win.

It all starts with bookmaker odds: we take prices from several firms, strip away the margin and work out an average. The tip is shared to inform you.
What do the 1, X and 2 on the bar stand for?
They are the three outcomes – home win (1), draw (X), away win (2) – and the colours show our estimated probability for each.
What are fair odds?
To get fair odds, divide 1 by the probability we estimate for a result. If a bookmaker pays more, the bet may be value, yet no bet is certain to win.

Average goals per game this season: 4.27. Games with both teams scoring: 50%. Games with over 2.5 goals: 71%.
